Business Development Manager - SaaS Innovation Platform - £50000 Base, £100000+ OTE

The Company

The tech used primarily enterprise organisations helps them to innovate by crowdsourcing ideas across it's stakeholder ecosystem. It can be used by any department, in any vertical and engage any group/audience to answer nearly any question.

It's benefits include cost cutting, new products, employees engagements, customer satisfaction, sustainability - basically giving them the cutting edge against competition.

The Job

It's a great opportunity to move into a consultative enterprise sales role.

You'll be meeting large brands and understanding their needs, where they want to develop and put together product that suits them. The role entails developing relationships with c'level of well-known companies.

  • It's a closing role so the focusing is on the nurturing of your pipeline and getting deals over the line
  • Land and expand, win new logo deals and then grow the accounts with cross/up sell
  • Consultative selling to c'level
  • Managing sales cycles so that you can close the deals in a realistic time frame but it's still consultative and not rushed
  • Work closely with the SDR team to keep your pipeline full
  • Persistence and drive to smash a c.500k+ target
  • Attend events (even set up your own!) and keep updated on market news

You

  • Must have SaaS sales experience with at least 1 years closing experience where you hit target
  • Experience closing 30k+ deals and ideally have closed a few 50k deals in your time
  • Happy doing new business and where needed build your own pipeline
  • Uses a consultative sales approach
  • Experience selling to c'level is a plus
  • University educated
  • Must have experience selling into the UK market
