Commercial Account Manager - Cloud Communications/TelCo Tech Start-Up - £45,000-65,000 plus bonus to £100K and benefits!

The Company

My client is in an incredibly successful space right now, providing a Cloud Communications platform for businesses to connect world wide through Tele and Video communications. They cover over 93% of the globe, working with household names and have been extremely successful over the past few years in particular.

With the world going more and more online and the demand for fast, reliable communication between remote workers and clients, this is a great space to be a part of for your career.

This role sits in their Account Management team where you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients on the tech platform, building relationships but focusing largely on renewing and identifying areas for expansion. You will need to be enthusiastic, personable and great at building relationships, with a solid background in Account Management. It is also important that you are ambitious and entrepreneurial as they very much have this culture!

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of some of the companies biggest and best Enterprise clients, across multiple industries in Tech.
  • Create a clear data-strategy for each client and work closely with them to achieve this.
  • Ensure the customers absolute success on the platform!
  • Manage client strategy and support across the platform, to ensure they are using it to its full capability.
  • Regularly meet clients on site as much as possible
  • Work with and manage clients and stakeholders in multiple international markets.
  • Work with your Customer Success counterpart to run QBR's.
  • Be responsible for renewing your clients on the tech platform.
  • Look for, and close, expansion opportunities within the tech through cross sells and up sells.


  • You will have at least 3 years' experience either in a Customer Success or Account Management role in a SaaS or tech company, working with a portfolio of clients.
  • You must have experience working in, or with, telecoms.
  • You have an above average retention rate, growth rate and client satisfaction rate,
  • You are bright, intelligent, and a quick-thinker.
  • You have an interest in the Cloud Communications industry.
  • You have experience managing clients and developing relationships.
  • You have an enthusiastic personality and are excited by meeting clients!
  • You are ambitious and driven as an individual - willing to put in the extra work when needed
  • You are a sales focused individual
