Creative Director - Copy & Creative

Contract- Outside Ir35

6 months

4 days per week (any 4 days)

Fully Remote or in office - your choice.

A brilliant agency client of ours is looking for a Creative Director to support the Creative team over the next few months. The Creative team encompasses both content and creative and is made up of:

  • 1 x Content strategist
  • 2 x Copywriters (1 internal, 1 ad hoc)
  • 1 x Creative designer

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a Creative Director with excellent Content Creation experience as well as a brilliant eye for design.

The role encompasses:

Level

Director level. This will be a leadership, oversight and coordination role.

Skills & Experience

Some Pharma/medical experience would be great. The end client sits in this field, so experience here would be a huge bonus.

Must have experience:

  • Managing a team- direct reports.
  • Supporting team in delivery of work to a high standard
  • Oversight of key accounts- brilliant client facing skills
  • Great stakeholder management
  • Supporting the creative/content team with management and prioritisation of work
  • Troubleshooting/problem solving where necessary
  • Working on a full range of creative and content led deliverables
    • Content strategy creation
    • Copywriting (articles, ad copy, web pages etc.)
    • Creative design (landing pages, playbooks, guides etc.)

Some of the types of work lined up include:

A number of small creative projects and some large projects that require creative strategic leadership and an overarching focus on how the creative elements and copy tie together to meet the client's objectives. This person will have to hit the ground running and come in to provide:

  • A real understanding of the client's and the project objectives
  • A view on what we have delivered so far and how these creative pieces feed into the overall picture
  • Clarity on each of the content strategies
  • A clear understanding of the briefs for the work
  • QA and sign off of all content and creative deliverables (to be measured against briefs)
  • Team support/guidance on deliverables
  • Attendance at client and internal project meetings
  • Partnership with the Account Managers on strategic leadership/direction
