Data Engineer - 3 months to go perm

An exciting sporting agency are looking for a Data Engineer.

• Based in London
• Mainly Remote - 1 -2 days a month in the office
• 3 Months with the view to go permanent
• Start date: 01/12/2023
• £55k - £60k Pro Rata

The Job

As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the project team to understand data requirements.
• Manage and maintain our AWS-based data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Utilise AWS services to build and maintain our data infrastructure.
• Implement and manage DBT (Data Build Tool) for transforming raw data into business-ready datasets.
• Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to build and maintain DBT models
• Develop and implement API integration's to ingest data from external sources.
• Ensure seamless connectivity between internal systems and external APIs.
• Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address data pipeline issues.
• Continuously optimise data processes for performance and cost efficiency.

You

• 3- 5 year's experience in a similar role
• Experience in the Media industry
• Understanding of machine learning and data analytic concepts
• Tools: DBT, AWS, Snowflake.
• Data visualisation tools any.
• Expertise in data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data transformation.
• Experience in digital transformation projects.
