An exciting sporting agency are looking for a Data Engineer.
- Based in London
- Mainly Remote - 1 -2 days a month in the office
- 3 Months with the view to go permanent
- Start date: 01/12/2023
- £55k - £60k Pro Rata
The Job
As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the project team to understand data requirements.
- Manage and maintain our AWS-based data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Utilise AWS services to build and maintain our data infrastructure.
- Implement and manage DBT (Data Build Tool) for transforming raw data into business-ready datasets.
- Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to build and maintain DBT models
- Develop and implement API integration's to ingest data from external sources.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between internal systems and external APIs.
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address data pipeline issues.
- Continuously optimise data processes for performance and cost efficiency.
You
- 3- 5 year's experience in a similar role
- Experience in the Media industry
- Understanding of machine learning and data analytic concepts
- Tools: DBT, AWS, Snowflake.
- Data visualisation tools any.
- Expertise in data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data transformation.
- Experience in digital transformation projects.
