London / remote (must be UK based)

£40,000- 50,000 pa depending on experience

Fantastic opportunity to join global publisher who boast an impressive portfolio of magazines, digital products & radio stations.

You will be part of a growing specialist data team and take a lead on data engineering projects related to ETL, data pipelining and data warehousing.

• The company have offices all over the world, including London - the main office for this role
• The company are very flexible and can offer semi-remote working so long as you can get to the London office on occasion
• You will get the chance to work with some of the biggest brands currently in media across different platforms
• Salary is up to £50,000 per annum

The role:

• Assist in designing and developing data pipelines, workflows, and data integration solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure data is properly integrated and made available for analysis.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating data integration, processing, and testing.
• Monitor data quality and perform data cleansing, standardization, and transformation.
• Manage and maintain data infrastructure, including database management, backup, and recovery.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.

About you:

• Strong experience using SQL (Postgres, T-SQL, MySQL) and ability to interpret large datasets
• Previous experience in data modelling, data warehousing and ETL design
• Ability to understand data, it's purpose and create actionable reports
• Experience using a BI tool (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau etc)
