Digital Account Manager - Retail Giant - West London

This agency is part of an international network, and boast clients ranging from retail giants to smaller luxury businesses - they have enviably long-standing client relationships, and a high client retention rate. This is a result of their flexible approach towards media industry developments and a deep understanding of each of their clients' businesses and objectives. They are looking for a Digital Manager to join one of their fully-integrated flagship account teams. The right person will be excited about the opportunity to work on a fast-paced account which allows large opportunities to collaborate internally on market leading work.


The role:

  • Implementing solid, well-thought out media plans that focus on the client's business objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the client, media owners, internal teams and all external partners.
  • Managing 3 juniors - including their development and workload.
  • A strong and expanding knowledge of the digital landscape - you will be proactive in staying up to date with industry changes, completing training courses and managing upwards and downwards to communicate any developments.
  • Act as an ambassador of Blue 449 both internally and externally at all times, promoting the agency, its clients and work.


  • You will have at least 3 years' experience in digital planning and buying in a media agency environment, ideally working on a large budget client.
  • You will have experience of working with DSPs and will have demonstrated understanding of digital campaign strategy and planning.
  • You will have demonstrated track record of managing challenging clients, and an ability to drive conversations with them that can influence and persuade.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
  • You will ideally have experience managing at least one more junior team member.
