Contract Project Manager

Outside IR35 and Fully remote

Our client is and agency who help the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and healthcare brands to show patients, regulators, government, policy makers, doctors and media how their complex products deliver the thing we most value, life.

They are currently hiring a Contract Project Manager, Outside of IR35 reform to support their Healthcare team over a variety of projects. Your role will be to deliver project management support across our communications strategies for a range of clients.

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in digital project delivery, experience working in an agency environment and ideally for a pharma or healthcare end client. You will be well versed in stakeholder management and a delivery expert!

YOU

To apply for this role, you need to have the follow experience as a minimum:

- Previous or relevant experience in a Project Management role within an agency is a must (ideally with healthcare background)

- If previously not worked with Healthcare clients must be of personal interest for this role

- Able to demonstrate relevant qualifications expected of a Project Manager

- Experience in client management

- Able to work self sufficiently in a fast past environment

- Integrated experience and able to know how to utilise a network in an agency

YOU

To be successful in this role you will have the following responsibilities:

- Obtain project briefs from clients and ensure the right information is secured to enable the project team to successfully meet client needs

- Development and implementation of project plans/schedules

- Development of project budgets/estimates based on the project plans/schedules

- Development of project scopes of work

- Oversee budgeting and resourcing of projects

- Facilitate end to end delivery maintaining the project to time and budget

- Maintain regular contact with clients and troubleshoot or escalate project risks as required

- Liaise with and manage third party agencies on behalf of clients

-Evaluate all projects upon completion, including future recommendations for client consideration

Client Service

- Deliver projects in an agency environment with specific ability to manage and scope (ideally with a knowledge of working with healthcare clients before)

- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and resources

- Knowledge of and experience implementing project management principles

- Ability to use any given project timeline management tool

- Successfully manage suppliers and other third party agencies

- Effectively prioritise and work on multiple projects at one time

- Exceptional communication skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders

- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principals in healthcare communications.

Financial Planning and Management

- Demonstrate understanding of core financial constructs including revenue, profitability, pricing structures (hourly vs. retainer accounts), budgeting and forecasting

- Record, submit and approve time, expenses and POs to the right project codes on a timely basis - ideally daily, but no later than weekly

- Assist with the development of accurate project budgets using the firm's financial system

- Effectively work within account budget parameters and deadlines

- Manage day-to-day client budget issues to resolution

- Track and monitor project financials (eg. budget vs. actual)

- Help ensure the brands financial policies and processes are followed by your team

Product Capability and Development

- Contribute to the development of new capabilities

- Support the implementation of new capabilities

- Share intellectual property (eg. Trust Barometer) with clients as applicable

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends and demonstrate understanding of how they integrate into communications programmes
