Director of Publisher Development - Los Angeles, US

Our client is a video data and technology working with leading brands, media companies and enterprise corporations.

They are searching for a Director of Publisher Sales to join its growing US team and establish an LA office. You will develop relationships with premium publishers, website owners, and various global online media companies across the West Coast. This role will begin an individual contributor role with the aim to grow a team too.

 

The Role

  • Expanding Client’s premium publisher network on the West Coast
  • Managing entire publisher sales cycle and pipeline from prospecting to deal closing
  • Negotiating small and large media deals for video monetization
  • Providing market intelligence and product feedback to internal stakeholders, as well as partners and customers

 

You

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Performance and goal oriented
  • An extensive book of publisher contacts
  • Experience working with direct publishers
  • AdTech or AI experience - preferred
  • Knowledge of the digital industry, market trends
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and manage a team - This is an individual contributor responsibility with a future goal of establishing and leading a sales team
