Marketing Planning Manager - Luxury Retail Business
Join our team as a Marketing Planning Manager and take charge of the end-to-end marketing planning cycle for our multi-channel retail business. Reporting to a senior member of the marketing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional marketing campaigns and activities. We are seeking a detail-oriented, commercially astute, and dynamic individual who thrives in managing complexity.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing Communications and Planning to develop the annual marketing calendar, aligning it with commercial and brand objectives, and ensuring effective communication across departments.
- Prioritize activities within the omni-retail business, balancing commercial, product, customer, brand, and promotional requirements. Determine the distribution of channel coverage across paid, earned, and owned media.
- Lead a team of professionals, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives from concept to execution and analysis.
- Foster a productive relationship between the marketing and creative production teams, establishing clear priorities, streamlining processes, and managing workflow effectively.
- Oversee the planning and execution of brand media activations, collaborating with brand partners and internal channel owners. Ensure flawless delivery and provide comprehensive campaign wrap-ups to demonstrate the value of activities.
- Plan and implement above-the-line activities such as print advertising, out-of-home campaigns, media insertions, and acquisition activations. Manage relationships with agencies and allocated budget.
- Support the marketing communications team in planning and executing customer and press events.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring the annual marketing production budget, ensuring accurate tracking of all activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing communications planning, preferably with agency experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a complex marketing ecosystem effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both internal and external, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience working with global brands, overseeing marketing activities across various channels.
- Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively in a fast-paced retail environment with competing demands.
