Media Account/ Planning Manager – Start-up Media Agency – Negotiable - London

The role:
As the Account/ Planning Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing your client’s campaigns – acting as their first point of contact for briefs, queries and ensuring that everything is moving according to plan.
- You need to understand your client’s business like the back of your hand! You’re passionate about helping them grow, and act as an extension of their own marketing team.
- Translate client briefs into innovative plans, and then into implementation briefs for activation teams and media owners. You’ll be a great source of media ideas above and beyond the traditional.
- Building relationships – with clients, internal team members, media owners, data providers and other partners.
- Understand all commercial models and carry out accurate client billing. Ownership of all campaign reporting, overseeing optimization and ensuring any learnings are used in future campaigns.
- Managing, growing and mentoring an account executive directly, and improving the knowledge of more junior members of staff in other teams.
- Being a fantastic ambassador for the agency – with clients, with media owners, with partners and on new business pitches!
You:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience comms planning in a media agency – this could be on top of other roles in different areas.
- Have proven experience of overseeing campaign planning cycles and owning these from brief to PCA.
- Are confident building relationships with clients and internal colleagues. You can adapt to different personalities and situations and have great communication skills.
- You are ambitious, entrepreneurial and eager to join an agency where you can help shape and impact its growth.
- Are a good multi-tasker! You can manage multiple projects whilst maintaining a high standard of work and attention to detail.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, exciting environment and are unphased by unexpected change!
