About the role

Based in the UK and with responsibility on a leading cosmetic and beauty tech brand in the UK market. The role will advise on key pillars of search and ecomm strategy, including media, content, retail partners and DTC. This is a unique opportunity to build upon an already market-leading activation team.

You will focus particularly on spearheading the acceleration of search and ecommerce strategy, as well as providing leadership to the 10+ media activation specialists working in this client hub.

Some of the things we'd like you to do:

Campaign Management

  • End-to-end delivery of highly effective campaigns, supported by a team of professionals to deliver and exceed performance targets
  • Working with client teams, to define strategic media roadmaps and oversee implementation. You will play a key advisory role for both clients and prospects by proposing strategies, technologies, solutions with actionable recommendations

Client Management

  • Manage the overall client account, including client relationship, efficiency, and strategy, delivery on time and to budget, always considering the client's return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement on the client account through media, marketing, creative, technological or process change

Media Skills

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional (client team, planning team, analytics team, etc.) teams, agreeing and coordinating deliverables and priorities with search/ecomm team members (also those embedded in client teams)
  • Establish your position as search/ecomm thought leader, with demonstrable thought leadership in this space, including a deep awareness of biddable platforms and industry trends. Generating case studies and consolidating regional tests in relation to search platforms for region level perspectives

People Management

  • Lead and inspire a dynamic, driven team, managing and developing them as well as supervising their work on a day-to-day basis
  • Define, maintain and communicate team structure and responsibilities within central search function team and across wider virtual team

A bit about yourself:

  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in an ecommerce role which has included overall responsibility for paid media activation - within an omni-channel or pure play business
  • Experience of working with key strategic platforms, including but not limited to: Criteo, Ebay, Citrus Ad, Amazon, Google Ads
  • Understand the requirements, capabilities, operational mechanisms, and pertinent performance data metrics of major ecommerce channels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder manager, both internally and externally - able to influence and take people on a journey
  • Motivational leader - leading by example while encouraging and coaching juniors
  • Proven ability to solve complex strategic problems
  • Numerical, analytical and outcomes-driven
  • Excellent track record of successfully growing online sales performance through effective media, data and tech development
  • Able to set and deliver the roadmap to drive both short-term goals and long term strategy
  • Experience of utilising methods to improve ecommerce performance at the forefront of technological advancements and will immerse themselves in future options
  • Experience running A/B testing, performing in depth analysis and utilising analytics tools to interpret the benefit on commercial performance
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, in a multi stakeholder and fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate within a cross functional team
