Contract - Media Director maternity cover FTC - up to £100k plus 20% bonus
My client, a tech subscription business who are a leader in their industry, are looking for a Media Director for a 12 month fixed term contract maternity cover. This is a very interesting industry that really does change lives! They are a US company with offices in the UK (where this role is based) as well as Europe, Australia and Canada. As the Media Director, your role will be to support the marketing teams for all offices (except US) along with their agencies to drive performance across acquisition media in line with the 2023 strategy. This is a hybrid (central London) role and are super flexible with office days per week. They are looking for someone to start in February.
The Job:
- Implement the 2023 strategy and manage the delivery of projects
- Lead your team in media planning within the international offices, liaising with all country marketing teams to develop solid cross channel plans
- You will be a key contact in managing agency relationships as well as technology vendors
- Regular reporting and analysis and using these findings to adapt media plans to ensure effective campaigns
- Responsible for sending reports and other key content pieces to stakeholders to ensure they have clarity on the overall strategy and their role in this
- Line management of 3 direct reports (manager level)
You:
- Strong experience delivering media strategies and campaigns
- Experience across PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic and SEO
- Experience with data analysis
- Exceptional communication skills and negotiation abilities
- Broad knowledge of above the line media planning including TV
- Ideally you will have worked within a media agency during your career as well as worked in a role where you have managed agencies
