Job Title: Paid Search Account Executive

Location: West End, London

Salary: 25 - 28K


The Company
Our client is an award winning, successful digital media planning, buying and analytics agency based in Soho, London. A Sunday Times Tech Track top 50 company, they have grown year-on-year and are proud to work with highly reputable clients. They are now a 65 strong agency made up of six core teams: Client Services, Digital Media, PPC, Content & Organic Search, Ad Operations & Tech and Data & Analytics. They operate as 100% independent within the wider Group structure, but also benefit from new business and shared clients from across the Group.

The Job


Campaign Creation

  • Keyword research, refinement and selection for PPC campaigns using above tools
  • Creative ad copy writing
  • Paid media partner research and media plan recommendations based on client KPIs
  • Set up relevant campaign settings, tracking of campaign elements etc
  • Ensure implementation of account tasks as delegated by the Account manager


Campaign Monitoring

  • Accurately monitoring campaign performance and budget pacing, highlighting any fluctuations and providing suggestions
  • Will participate in client calls and meetings
  • Work through any account issues, in close liaison with the Account Manager, publishers and internal teams


Optimisation & Analysis

  • Deliver in depth analysis to understand performance beyond top line metrics, suggesting ideas and driving innovation
  • Campaign optimisations and tests with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in manual and automated bidding methodologies
  • To help build short, medium and long term PPC strategies


Budget Management

  • Manage bidding strategies across accounts and ensure activity spends to budget
  • Manage the finance process ensuring invoices are accurate and delivered on time


Reporting & Forecasting

  • Regular and adhoc report generation at keyword, landing page, ad copy etc level
  • Providing key insights into performance in reporting commentary


Client Management

  • To support the AM in client communication including adhoc daily communications, weekly reporting call and monthly business reports.




You should have:


  • Smart & passionate about digital
  • Inquisitive by nature
  • Comfortable with new technology
  • Self-driven & able to work well as part of a team



  • Sharp analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
  • No previous agency experience is necessary, however, at minimum, an understanding of digital advertising and search engines with a keen interest to further this into practical experience
  • Analytically-minded and confident manipulating raw data for analysis to identify trends and insights
  • Data-driven background (mathematical, analytical, digital, economy or financial) is advantageous
  • Practical experience with running PPC / Paid Media campaigns is advantageous



  • Able to prioritise and plan tasks in a busy role
  • Able to manage a workload and communicate any difficulties readily



  • Quick learner, able to improve on their knowledge quickly whilst managing workload

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office portfolio
  • AdWords, Bing, DoubleClick
