Our client is starting an exciting phase in its evolution and has started to introduce a brand new approach to using data and technology to support delivering excellent customer outcomes. Great data and insights underpins everything they do. To strengthen the team further they are looking for an experienced Digital / IT Project Manager to manage the delivery of multiple projects and product development initiatives. It is an exciting role, and one that will involved a fair amount of internal and external stakeholder management. You must be happy to be in the office two days per week, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then work three days from home if preferred.
Key Responsibilities of this Project Manager:
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Responsible for working with the development team to define scope, effort, resource and timelines for project delivery
- Having a good understanding of technical and web related projects is a must.
- End to end project management experience is required here
- Ability to guide and coordinate with multiple technical teams working on different transformation tracks
- Responsible for working with senior stakeholders to define requirements and outcomes
- Work with 3rd party suppliers too
- Identify, document and address risks or conflicts
- Experience of working with Waterfall, Agile and hybrid development teams
- Ensure the appropriate technical designs are created to understand and manage: risk, technical complexity and future proofing
- Responsible for ensuring strong business partnering with a strong customer focus
- Responsible for documenting and maintaining the Technical Architecture showing various aspects of customer engagement, data processing, integrations, analytics and insights
- Responsible for regular and effective progress updates
You - your background and knowledge:
- Strong experience in Project Management delivering multiple technology transformation projects
- Solid knowledge of project delivery and software development lifecycle
- Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software solutions, systems and products
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Demonstrable capability of understand complex technical landscapes
- A customer focused approach
- Partners with Stakeholders: has the desire to work co-operatively with all stakeholders to meet mutual goals and seeks out and shares inputs from others
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Detail oriented
