Sales Director – New York, US

Our client is a video data and technology working with leading brands, media companies and enterprise corporations.

They are searching for an exceptional sales professional to become a senior lead in their sales efforts and strategy. position in their sales efforts. This person will be passionate about tech and someone who can take leadership in growing and developing relationships across different customers. This person will have a strong track record for delivering/exceeding on revenue goals and this person will have strong enterprise SaaS sales experience where they have been selling to the media vertical.

 

The Role

  • Conduct research on clients and contacts
  • Prospect daily to attain new business through email, phone, and in person meetings
  • Champion their SaaS platform and vision through demonstrations, trade shows, and market events
  • Negotiate legal contracts and pricing terms
  • Serve as primary point of contact and build long relationships
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and progress
  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Meet or exceed sales goals each quarter.
  • Continuously develop an extensive set of relationships at C-level, VP and Director-levels across companies and across industry categories.
  • Leverage a virtual territory team to execute against sales goals
  • Prepare deal overviews and contract summaries for key stakeholders.

 

You

  • 5-10 years’ experience in business development from a software or enterprise platform, with experience in media relationships.
  • Strong sales background that enables you to drive an engagement at the C level.
  • Drive territory growth through up-selling/cross selling existing customers
  • Expertise in ad-supported Media/Video use case
  • Proven track record of successful six figure sales and exceeding revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative and think outside the box in terms of deal structure and framework
  • An ability to assess client needs effectively and address needs through new products and services
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
