Sphere Digital have partnered with a leading digital marketing consultancy, which specialises in implementing and maintaining digital marketing solutions for advertisers, agencies and publishers internationally. They are also Google’s most experienced EMEA Sales Partner!

The company has a massive global outreach, with 15 offices worldwide including in cities such as London, Madrid, Sydney and Singapore. Their main client base consists of multinational companies such as Zalando and leading agencies and publishers such as GroupM and Axel Springer. 

They are now looking for a fluent/native German speaker to join them in Germany as a Senior Business Development Manager!


The Role

 As a Senior Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the entire sales cycle, including acquiring new clients/winning new business in the DACH region
  • Understanding your client’s challenges and growth plans and advising them on how to align these with the company’s consulting services, certified licenses and in-house software solutions
  • Developing and presenting strategic proposals and project plans to new clients
  • Building long-term client relationships to ensure the success and growth of your key accounts



  • Native German speaker and business fluent in English
  • 3-5 years of experience within a Sales or Business Development Role 
  • Good knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform and/or Digital Maturity Framework
  • You have a strong network across the DACH region, and connections at Google is a bonus
  • A proven track record at a media agency is a plus
  • Proven experience within the digital marketing space
  • Able to produce RFPs, successful pitches and close deals
  • Strong strategic, analytical and consultative approach
  • Extensive knowledge of the online advertising landscape, as well as online media buying- and selling- processes
