Social Media Account Director London - up to £52,000

For the last 10 years, they have helped brands navigate and harness the chaos of social by bringing method to the madness. They partner with the brands of tomorrow, future-focused and growing companies, from household names to next generation big brands.

They are growing fast and so looking for a new Account Director to join their Social Media Management team.

As the Account Director your objective is to successfully deliver the social strategy and scope of work for some of the agency's largest and most complex clients. You'll play a pivotal role in implementing ways of working for each of your accounts, from briefing through to delivery and everything in between.

The Job

As the Social Media Account Director your responsibilities will include:

Account development

Client Services & Growth Strategy - Setting ambitious growth targets and defining the approach to client services required to achieve them. Create, communicate and deliver effective account plans that include client insight, communication, stakeholder management and reporting to facilitate reactive and proactive upselling. Leading any pitches, proposals and scoping for additional work.

Reporting and Client Marketing - Ensuring we are regularly selling back in the value of our work and social media as a marketing channel is adding to the client, along with reporting on where we could be adding more value. Educating clients on the agency's development and thought leadership content, along with industry updates.

Client Communication - Cc'ed on all comms but focussing on communication about mid-long term business and marketing plans with stakeholders beyond our immediate Points of Contact and any appointed agencies. Organising key calls, meetings (team & independent) and Quarterly Reviews. Recognising and resolving delivery or client issues or lack of results.

Account Leadership

Team communication - Updating team on mid-long term client conversations to inform upcoming account plans and driving commercial awareness across the team. Ensuring the team is communicating and operating effectively together.

Quality of work - Set up teams effectively to support your pursuit of a higher standard of work. Inspiring your account teams to produce the agency's best work in all areas of delivery and work that meets the client's strategic goals.

Project Management

Scope Management - Ensuring accurate delivery of scope of work (deliverables and time) using time tracking, ensuring deliverables are of high quality and all deadlines are met. Recognising and resolving any scope or resourcing issues and leading on new resourcing requests.

Working with Social Media Manager - Establishing the division of responsibility in account communication and a structure for communicating with each other to share progress updates. Working with Social Media Manager Client Lead to manage Creative and Paid Media Manager briefs and deadlines and signing off all deliverables

Commercial Management

Delivery - Responsible for the commercial management of scopes ensuring we meet a healthy account contribution for each of your accounts based on its scope. Managing the scoping & planning processes within our agency management software and ensuring resource requests are made in a timely manner for growth opportunities.

Reporting - Ensuring scopes are inputed accurately and controlling the performance of these scopes. Delivering regular reporting on tracked vs scoped time and account contribution to account finance teams respectively.
