Solutions Consultant - Marketing Tech - Up to £85,000 Bonus - London - Remote (Must be UK based)

 

The Company

My client is a marketing tech/agency (with a SaaS platfork=m) - eCommerce system integrator who essentially works with retail's biggest names to plan, implement and maintain eCommerce systems that drive business performance, and develop multichannel retail experiences that customers love.

They are looking for a Solutions Consultant to handle and set up processes for client-facing technical support, handle client relationship management and drive the growth of existing accounts.

As eCommerce experts, they deliver the skills of selling online to our clients. They enable them to enhance their business results across all channels through exceptional customer experience and effective eCommerce systems.

Their clients include the likes of TM Lewin, Sweaty Betty, Liberty, Whittard, and loads more.

Main Headquarters are in London but they also have offices in Australia, Bulgaria, and India, with over 200 employees globally.

 

The Role

  • Conducting client research and analysis of the current technology stack in use capability
  • Lead platform-agnostic discoveries and suggest the best fitting solutions which are logical, meets business needs, and are platform appropriate
  • Leading re-platform projects for eCommerce platforms end to end
  • Create, own, and manage functional scope
  • Understand the clients business needs and process
  • Help our clients with building their road maps and backlog grooming of requirements

 

You

  • 7+ years within eCommerce
  • Leading discovery workshops to gather business requirements, understand the current state and develop technical requirements
  • Translating outputs from discovery workshops into Epics and present highly technical concepts to external/internal senior business stakeholders
  • Understanding of the full eCommerce product life cycle, including back-end systems (OMS, PIM, ERP, etc)
  • Working knowledge of either Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Magento, SAP Commerce Cloud or Commerce Tools
  • Proven track record in software development environments and experiences of end-to-end project lifecycles
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, including raising awareness of innovation, process improvements, and how to solve client challenges
  • Proficient in co-coordinating with globally dispersed teams and vendors across different time zones
  • Experience with B2B and B2C eCommerce implementations
  • Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Project
  • Requirement documenting skills in the form of user cases, user stories, wireframing, user flows/diagrams and functional specifications
  • Ability to translate between development, creative and business stakeholders

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and presenting
  • Working knowledge of either Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Magento, SAP Commerce Cloud or Commerce Tools
  • Previous experience providing estimates for production work
  • Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills, with a fantastic can-do attitude
  • Previous experience facilitating discovery workshops
  • Ability to analytically think and problem solve
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies

 

Desirable Experience & Knowledge

  • Ideally Certification in Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce Cloud)
  • Understanding of Headless Commerce
  • Understanding of App Commerce
  • Knowledge of user experience
  • Understanding of web standards, best practices, and latest online trends
