VP Sales/Head of Sales, East Coast - Ad Tech Start-Up - $150,000-$200,000 base + Double OTE and stock!

New York City - Semi Remote

The Company

Founded not long ago, this Start-up have grown hugely in the UK and thanks to a new funding round they are now scaling their US operations. They are market leaders for their technology across Europe and have received a huge amount of investment recently with this role now to win business and scale their US business and a chance to be there right at the start!

They have incredible technology supporting both brands and agencies delivery more targeted ad campaigns across Social, Display, Mobile and Native.

It's a fantastic time to be joining the business at an early stage of their growth with a fantastic product behind you that works! You'll also be part of the leadership team defining the direction of the US business, reporting directly into the founder.

They are ideally looking for someone from an Ad Tech or Agency Sales background who has proven experience both winning 6 figure business as well as scaling sales teams.


The Role


As a VP of Sales, you will:


  • Build and manage their existing sales team - currently 2 people
  • Perform "player-coach" responsibilities and helping with senior level pitches and business development
  • Look to grow and expand the team, they are hoping to hire two new sales people in the next 6 months
  • Reporting back to the board on revenue numbers, projections and team performance
  • Expected to act as a senior leader within the business and appear at various trade shows and events on behalf of the company




  • A proven leader and manager of sales employees, experience managing a team is a must
  • Experience working for a technology company, ideally either within ad tech
  • Ideally have experience selling to both Agencies and Brands direct, demand side
  • You will be a great developer of people, with a proven track record of improving and growing revenue performance across your team
  • You have a great track record of winning large pieces of business
  • Passionate, ambitious and driven to join a rapidly expanding and high flying start up
