Chief Marketing Officer

Gain Capital, a leading global FOREX trading platform retained Sphere to hire a CMO, who would have responsibility for all marketing efforts globally and lead a department of over 100 heads.

Sphere conducted a retained search in North America and the UK, finding a CMO based out of London. Since the start of our relationship with Gain Capital, Sphere have gone on to place a further 40 people across Europe, North America and APAC at management level with the CMO as they built a high-performing team over the following 18 months.

Managing Director, EMEA

Sphere were retained to hire a Managing Director, EMEA for SpotX, a globall a video ad tech platform. Extensive searches were carried out across Europe and we were successful in finding SpotX an Managing Director to be based out of London. The candidate made an immediate impact in the business, helping them to successfully exit before taking on a larger role in the new organisation.

Regional SVP

ComScore were looking to hire a Regional SVP for their business in APAC.  As well as managing their teams in Hong Kong and Singapore, ComScore wanted to hire a candidate who could open and lead their business in China.  

Having worked with Sphere in other regions, ComScore connected with Sphere to see if we could support them with this search as a retained partner. Working in this way meant we were able to conclude the search within six weeks of taking the briefing call with the Global VP of Talent and SVP.

After two weeks of initial research Sphere presented ComScore with a shortlist of candidates who had been sourced locally and from other regions including North America and Europe, with three candidates progressing through to final round interview stage.

Including the hiring process and completion of notice period, the successful candidate stared at ComScore within four months of Sphere being briefed on the role. Interestingly their chosen candidate was working in Canada and was happy to relocate back to Hong Kong.
