We are seeing huge growth in the Connect TV space (CTV). A Product Manager for CTV is responsible for working closely with a team to formulate the strategy and deliver the roadmap for the company's CTV products. They play a key role in driving product strategy, sales propositions, go-to-market plans, and performance measurement frameworks. They help build a product and propositions roadmap for the region, with clear timelines and deliverables for the company's owned and operated TV products, cross-device offering, and campaign measurement & attribution capabilities. 

They will have great technical knowledge and may be responsible for the development and growth of areas within CTV such as the company's Owned & Operated OTT Service, Tizen CTV Apps, Third Party CTV Inventory, Geographic Expansion, Targeting Capabilities, Reporting & Analytics, Ad Tech Partnerships, Privacy & Information Security and Sales Meetings & Partnerships. 

As with the vast majority of Product roles, they need to have excellent communication and partner management skills, the ability to think strategically and tactically, and in addition for the CTV space, they will have a  strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem.
 

A Product Manager in the technology sector is typically responsible for leading a consumer-focused product team and working closely with senior product managers in the same area. 

They work with a cross-functional team that typically will include a designer, multiple engineers and data support to build and define product priorities by collecting and analyzing data from multiple stakeholders, including consumers, dealers, and manufacturers. 

Product managers in tech generally work with product ambassadors to get input, ideas, and ensure that they have the right information to represent the product team into their areas/functions. They also keep track of industry trends and address production issues during sprints.

They work closely with teams such as marketing, design, and engineering to develop and implement strategies for increasing traffic, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Product managers play a crucial role in supporting media owners and publishers by leading the development and success of their products. They bring a unique combination of technical marketing skills to their field and work closely with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and determining the target audience for the product. In the media industry, product managers often specialize in specific areas such as Connected TV (CTV), Out-of-Home (OOH), Video-on-Demand (VOD) and other technical product roles.

CTV specialists, for example, are responsible for formulating the strategy and delivering the roadmap for a company's CTV products. OOH specialists are responsible for overseeing the development and success of products and services related to out-of-home advertising such as billboards, bus shelters, and transit advertising. VOD specialists are responsible for overseeing the development and success of video-on-demand products and services such as streaming platforms and subscription-based video services. In all cases, product managers in media owners and publishers are responsible for working closely with other product teams, senior leaders, and other relevant parts of the business to ensure the success of their products.
