GROWTH DIRECTOR | INDEPENDENT AGENCY | LONDON
I’m working with a growing independent agency specialising in media and marketing, SEO, GEO, paid search and performance marketing, that is looking for a Growth Director to own the growth strategy and win new business.
This is a high-impact commercial role focused on creating opportunities, building senior relationships and turning those relationships into revenue.
What you’ll be doing:
* Develop and execute the agency’s growth strategy
* Identify target sectors, brands and new revenue opportunities
* Build a high-quality pipeline across new and existing markets
* Create relationships with senior marketing and commercial decision makers
* Lead outbound activity, networking, events, introductions and partnerships
* Turn initial conversations into qualified opportunities
* Lead the commercial side of pitches and proposals
* Work alongside founders and senior leadership to shape the agency’s proposition
* Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and unlock new revenue
* Bring structure, pace and accountability to the agency’s growth activity
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in agency growth, new business or commercial roles
* Experience within an independent media, performance media, SEO, GEO or paid search agency
* Strong understanding of how agencies win and retain clients
* Existing network across UK brands or a track record of building one
* Commercially sharp with a genuine understanding of revenue and pipeline
* Confident engaging with senior marketing stakeholders
* Comfortable owning conversations, opportunities and pitches
* Entrepreneurial, proactive and motivated by building something
* Someone who wants more than a traditional sales role and wants to have a real influence on the agency’s growth
You’ll have real visibility with leadership, significant ownership and the opportunity to directly influence where the agency goes next. You must have proven experience in an independant agency pitching to and winning new clients.
