The Sr. Client Success Manager is the operational and visionary engine behind every campaign we deliver. You support the full campaign cycle with a strategic POV in presale and own execution – ensuring campaigns land on time, on scope, and strandard.
How the Role Works
You lead strategy, client relationship, and execution:
- Lead client kickoffs, own day-to-day client communication, and serve as an authority on the relationship through delivery

- Lead internal statuses and drive cross-functional coordination across all departments
- Identify and flag risks proactively, and come to every problem with a solution
- Deliver reporting, wrap documentation, and performance insights directly to the client
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Thinking
- Partnering with Sales to fully understand client objectives and campaign goals
- Ability to add your unique point of view with historical knowledge to best inform internal teams and advocate for the client
- Adept at identifying possible additional revenue opportunities, upselling where relevant
Campaign Execution
- Own end-to-end campaign execution from kickoff through final wrap
- Build and maintain project timelines, including task ownership, dependencies, and milestones
- Manage campaigns across a range of formats: custom branded content, video, social activations, high-impact ad units, and integrated programs
- Ensure all deliverables align with the campaign IO, media plan, and client objectives
- Facilitate asset collection from clients, map tracking requirements, and QA in partnership with AdOps
- Oversee post-sale production budgets to maintain profitable margins
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the central coordination point across Sales, Editorial, Design, Branded Content, Social, Legal, AdOps, and Finance
- Communicate proactively with internal teams – clear direction, no ambiguity
- Flag risks early and escalate with context and a recommended path forward
Client Communication
- Own day-to-day client communication across your book of business: status updates, timeline check-ins, deliverable tracking

- Deliver white glove service to all clients – proactive, solutions-oriented, communicative
Reporting & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance metrics against delivery and KPIs
- Provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations to internal and client teams
- Document process learnings and campaign retrospectives to improve future execution

- Sales can focus on the relationship because the operation is fully handled
- Internal teams have clear direction and never need to chase you
- Escalations are the exception, not the rule
- Risks are surfaced early; surprises are rare
Team Fundamentals
We expect every member of the Client Success team to show up this way:
- Strategic: Think beyond the campaign in front of you. Connect execution to longer-term opportunity.
- Direct & Confident: Set expectations clearly, hold the line when needed, and communicate hard things with care.
- Collaborative by Default: Bring internal teams in early, share context generously, and credit readily.
- Calm Under Pressure: Surface problems with solutions attached, not alarms. Represent stability in every interaction.
- Operationally Rigorous: Build the plan, own the timeline, close the loop.
- Adaptable: Apply process where it helps – flex where it doesn’t. Operate in ambiguity without waiting for perfect information.
