Sphere has been recruiting marketing talent for the retail trading industry since 2012, with StoneX (formerly City Index, Gain Capital) becoming one of Sphere’s key global partners.

Supporting StoneX through multiple phases of growth, Sphere has delivered hires across Digital Marketing, Content, Product, and Analytics, helping to build high-performing teams across multiple regions.

Led by Niall Phelan and supported by Senior Client Partners across Sphere’s UK, EU and South African teams, Sphere has built a long-standing and scalable partnership with StoneX.

This includes:

Delivering hires across marketing, product, and analytics functions

Supporting both permanent and contract hiring across multiple regions

Partnering closely with leadership to build out entire teams, including senior leadership roles such as CMO

In 2025, StoneX launched a hub in South Africa. Having initially supported the hub’s expansion from the UK with multiple hires, Sphere launched in South Africa, where we now support StoneX locally.
