The Company
My client is a retail media platform helping consumer brands advertise across retailer websites, apps and off-site programmatic inventory, with closed-loop measurement tied to real sales. Their New York commercial team works with many of the largest CPG and consumer brands in the United States.
They are hiring an Account Executive to win new brand and agency business and grow retail media investment across the East Coast.
The Role
As an Account Executive you will be:
Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close and handover to account management
Building pipeline with brand marketing, shopper marketing and agency teams across your territory
Running discovery and building proposals that connect media spend to sales outcomes
Partnering with retailer and platform teams on joint plans for major brand advertisers
Forecasting accurately and keeping a disciplined, well-managed pipeline
Representing the company at retail media events and in the New York media community
You
2+ years of ad tech, media, retail media or SaaS sales experience with a record of hitting target
Understanding of retail media networks, commerce media or programmatic buying
Consultative seller who leads with a client’s sales problem, not a product tour
Strong presentation, negotiation and commercial skills
Self-motivated, organised and hungry to build a territory
Knowledge of the digital ecosystem and digital advertising
Fun, personable and intelligent with a desire to get ahead!
