At Sphere, we spend a considerable amount of time on the phone gathering information and whilst in our opinion, nothing beats face-to-face interaction, phone interviews are a great way to save time and effort for both the candidate and client.

Talking through your experience with a hiring manager on the phone can be tricky; you can’t read their body language, facial expressions, or pick up on the same cues you might do when meeting in-person. Therefore, it’s hugely important to be prepared and bone up on your knowledge of the company, position and your own strengths to come across well.
