It’s been another exciting and successful month for us here at Sphere Digital Recruitment Inc as we’re now one step closer to moving to New York with our VP, North America, Dan Bolter's E2 US Visa being approved!
The flights have been booked and by April 1st, Sphere will officially be in New York!
This month, we welcomed Riley Larson to our team. We’re now up to a team of 3 consultants specializing in Sales, Account Management and Programmatic Trading and have had a great month partnering with several more hires made with our clients across Ad Tech, Mar Tech and SaaS.
Riley, welcome to Sphere!
How has your first week been since flying to London for a month of training?
"My first week was really exciting…and tiring. Jet lag combined with hours of training left me a bit deflated by the end of the week, but I enjoyed every second of it. The training is very intense but you also have a blast while doing it, with lots of laughs. Can't wait for week 2!"
Can you tell us a bit about your background?
"I studied business management for 4 years at Le Moyne College where I also played on the Men’s Lacrosse team. After Covid had my senior season cancelled, we were given an extra year of eligibility. I took that year of eligibility to play for the Fairfield University Men’s Lacrosse team and received a Masters in Marketing Analytics. I recently did an Internship with Billers International, doing rec2rec, which led me to finding Sphere!"
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
"I’ve had several major injuries including a torn ACL, broken Jaw, and a broken collar bone, to name a few... Maybe it's good my sports career is coming to an end?!"
Why did you choose to join Sphere?
"The People! Every interview I had was really amazing. I felt like I connected with everyone I talked to and knew it was the place for me."
What are you looking forward to in the year ahead?
"Very excited to open up shop in NYC with Dan and Anil. It's going to be a huge year for us!"
A bit about your specialism and what clients/candidates should get in touch with you.
"I specialize in placing salespeople into Ad Tech Vendors and Publishers in the US. Anyone looking to get into top notch companies doing AdTech and Publishers Sales should reach out!"
