Ad Tech Operations Specialist - Programmatic | £28K-£45K DOE | Fully Remote (UK or Europe)
The Company
Our client is a specialist programmatic business powering real-time advertising infrastructure for digital media partners across the globe. They help publishers and ad tech platforms maximise yield through highly efficient, transparent exchange-level integrations.
With a flat structure and remote-first setup, the business is scaling fast and looking to bring on sharp, hands-on talent to help optimise performance and support new partner growth. If you know your way around OpenRTB, XML, and SSP/DSP integrations, this is a great chance to join a high-impact technical team without layers of process or red tape.
The Job:
You'll manage the day-to-day running of exchange integrations with DSPs and SSPs, handling technical onboarding, endpoint configuration, and performance monitoring.
You'll troubleshoot issues across OpenRTB and XML traffic flows, ensuring seamless data exchange between partners.
You'll act as the first point of contact for integrated partners, responding to queries, sharing updated endpoints, and coordinating changes-mostly via chat-based comms.
You'll deep dive into reporting (Excel-based), identify underperforming bundles or partners, and flag revenue optimisation opportunities.
You'll collaborate closely with the core team to streamline operations and free up bandwidth for strategic growth initiatives.
You'll contribute to a lean, expert-driven culture that values plug-and-play thinkers who can hit the ground running.
You
Minimum years hands-on experience working at the ad exchange level in programmatic (e.g. with AdKernel, ownAd, or similar).
Strong technical understanding of OpenRTB or XML integrations.
Confident configuring endpoints, investigating traffic paths, and working with SSP/DSP tech.
Comfortable communicating with partners in a clear, text-based environment (Teams, Slack, etc.).
Analytical mindset with working knowledge of Excel and performance metrics.
Happy working remotely with a collaborative, get-things-done team culture.
Nice to Have
Exposure to arbitrage models or monetisation strategy.
Experience onboarding new programmatic partners.
Ability to contribute to light-touch business development or partner outreach (not required).
