Bi Analyst - Contract

An exciting global consultancy in Amsterdam is looking for a Power BI Developer to join on a contract basis.

• Location: Central Amsterdam

• Office policy: Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in client office

• Contract: 3 months initially, with potential to extend

• Start date: ASAP (ideally by 27th October)

• Rate: €25 per hour

The Job
You'll act as Subject Matter Expert on Power BI development, leading front-end design and optimisation across multiple projects. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable dashboards and insights.

• Solely responsible for front-end Power BI development and optimisation of multiple tools

• Redesign data models and relationships for improved performance

• Provide analysis and insights aligned with client business goals

• Create Power BI dashboards used across multiple countries in a global CPG business

• Develop an Ecommerce Search Analysis dashboard to track performance trends, ranking improvements, and competitor analysis across platforms

• Deliver unified solutions spanning multiple ecommerce segments, including sales trends, content impact, and product assortment

• Conduct data-driven market performance studies, including a major pharma project in Australia using Nielsen retail data to identify key velocity and distribution drivers of revenue and share

• Work closely with teams using Databricks and occasionally Qlik Sense

You

• 5-8 years' experience in analytics or BI development

• Expert in Power BI, with experience in Databricks and ideally Qlik Sense

• Background in logistics or supply chain, healthcare preferred

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
