A global advertising technology leader is seeking a Director of Client Development to drive strategic growth across the Retail and Commerce ecosystem - including national retailers, retail media networks, and commerce-driven brands. This senior commercial role will anchor U.S. engagement with top retail advertisers, helping them activate high-value audiences through mobile, AI-driven content experiences, and advanced programmatic solutions.

About the Role

Reporting into the Global VP of Client Development, you will lead enterprise relationships across retail and commerce, develop multi-year joint business partnerships, and own revenue expansion across a key strategic category. You'll connect a full suite of solutions - including first-party content experiences, programmatic supply, creative, data, and measurement - to retail marketers' goals across discovery, engagement, and conversion.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility position suited for a leader who excels at strategic selling, category development, and navigating complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own senior-level brand and RMN relationships across leading U.S. retail and commerce advertisers.

  • Develop long-term commercial partnerships and annual business plans.

  • Evangelize and package the organization's retail and commerce value proposition across mobile, programmatic, and AI-powered content surfaces.

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, insights, and marketing to drive adoption of full-stack solutions.

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for the retail category and influence go-to-market strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 8-12+ years in digital media, retail media, or enterprise sales with a focus on retail or commerce verticals.

  • Strong track record selling into national retailers, RMNs, or large commerce-driven advertisers.

  • Ability to craft strategic partnerships and lead complex executive-level conversations.

  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, data-driven marketing, and commerce trends.

  • Highly consultative, strategic operator with strong cross-functional leadership skills
