Regional Commercial Director, Americas
Location: United States (East Coast preferred)
Compensation: $200K base + commission
A globally respected intelligence and research organization is seeking a Regional Commercial Director, Americas to lead and accelerate growth across the region.
This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the company's global commercial strategy. You will own regional revenue performance while building and inspiring a high-performing team of 10 sales professionals. The mandate is clear: drive sustained, profitable growth while elevating the sophistication and impact of commercial engagement across the Americas.
The Opportunity
The organization delivers world-class geopolitical, macroeconomic, and country-risk intelligence to global corporates, financial institutions, policymakers, and public-sector leaders.
As Regional Commercial Director, you will:
Own full Americas revenue (new business, upsell, renewals, retention)
Define and execute a clear regional growth strategy
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing enterprise sales team
Drive disciplined pipeline management and forecasting rigor
Engage credibly with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
Translate complex geopolitical and macroeconomic insight into clear commercial value
Partner cross-functionally to inform GTM strategy and product direction
This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on commercial execution.
Who We're Looking For
10+ years of senior B2B enterprise sales leadership experience
Proven success selling subscription-based data, intelligence, research, or API-driven solutions
Experience managing and scaling regional teams (8-20 sellers)
Strong track record of delivering against new business and retention targets
Deep understanding of consultative, outcome-based enterprise selling
Highly data-driven in forecasting, pipeline management, and performance optimization
Executive presence with the ability to engage senior leaders on decisions shaped by geopolitical and macroeconomic risk
Experience within financial services, intelligence, risk analytics, economic advisory, or enterprise data environments is highly desirable.
