Contract - Chinese Speaking Analyst

An exciting consumer brand in China is looking for a Freelance Social & E-commerce Insights Analyst to support a short-term research project focused on market perception and competitor analysis.

• Location: China-based

• Office Policy: Remote

• Contract Length: 4-6 weeks

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Day Rate: Competitive, DOE

The Job

• Analyse social, search, and e-commerce reviews data in-market

• Pull and analyse local data directly from Chinese platforms

• Map competitive landscape and consumer perception of the brand and competitors

• Identify unmet consumer needs and product gaps

• Explore usage habits, routines, and purchase motivations

• Conduct sentiment and awareness analysis

• Help shape strategic recommendations with the wider team

You

• Based in China, with access to relevant data platforms

• Fluent in Mandarin and English

• Strong background in consumer insights and social listening

• Experienced in analysing digital consumer behaviour and e-commerce data

• Comfortable delivering findings with clear strategic direction
