An exciting Publisher in London is looking for a Senior Data Engineer Consultant.
- Based in London
- 3 days a week in the office
- 6 months initially
- Start date: 29/04/24
- £600 - £640pd Outside IR35
The Job
As the Senior Data Engineer Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead a team of 4 individuals within the tech consultancy domain.
- Make critical decisions on a day-to-day basis to drive the team's success.
- Shape the future direction of our data management strategies, particularly in the realm of consumer data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their data needs.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and accessibility of customer data.
- Implement and optimise data management solutions using AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.
- Maintain a balance between consultancy duties and hands-on technical work, aiming for a 50/50 mix.
You
- Proven experience in a lead engineer role, preferably within a consultancy setting.
- Strong background in managing and leveraging customer data for strategic insights.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP, with a focus on data management solutions.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Excellent decision-making skills, particularly in fast-paced environments.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including those in retail, publishing, and consumer sectors.
