Contract: Full-time
Location: London
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office
Start: ASAP

We're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join an independent, culture-led creative agency, working across consumer and lifestyle clients. This is a highly hands-on social role, combining content creation, social strategy, community management and client delivery.

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering social-first content and engagement strategies across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X. You'll work across the full process - from identifying cultural moments and developing ideas through to creating, shooting, editing, publishing and optimising content.

You'll also manage day-to-day communities and channels, proactively identifying opportunities for brands to join relevant conversations and ensuring content feels culturally relevant and native to each platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, shoot and edit social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X.
  • Develop content calendars and produce reactive, trend-led content at pace.
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement and channel publishing, including proactive and reactive engagement.
  • Use social listening, platform trends and audience behaviour to identify content and campaign opportunities.
  • Develop social strategies, content pillars and campaign ideas rooted in cultural insight.
  • Track social performance and translate data into actionable recommendations and optimisations.
  • Present social ideas, content and performance insights confidently to clients.
  • Collaborate with Creative, PR and Client Services teams on integrated campaigns.
  • Support project scopes, budgets and timings while identifying opportunities to grow client activity.

Experience Required

  • 4+ years' social media experience within an agency environment.
  • Strong hands-on content creation skills - comfortable scripting, filming and editing short-form social content.
  • Excellent understanding of TikTok, Instagram and wider social platform trends, formats and best practices.
  • Strong experience across community management, social listening and reactive social.
  • Able to develop social strategies while remaining highly executional and hands-on.
  • Confident with social analytics, reporting and using insights to optimise content.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience across consumer, lifestyle, hospitality or culturally relevant brands would be particularly beneficial.
