Data Engineer - London (Hybrid)

Data Engineer wanted for a leading independent media and marketing business operating at the intersection of data, technology and advertising.

Sphere are partnered with a high-growth agency who are looking to hire a Data Engineer to join its specialist data and technology team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data solutions, working with marketing and customer data, and helping stakeholders unlock greater value from their reporting and analytics capabilities.

Working closely with data, analytics and client-facing teams, you will play a key role in developing cloud-based data infrastructure, integrating multiple data sources, and delivering solutions that enable smarter marketing decisions.

The role is London-based with a hybrid working setup.

The role:

• Building and maintaining cloud-based data solutions that bring together data from marketing platforms, analytics tools and client systems
• Designing and managing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability and accessibility across reporting environments
• Developing scalable reporting and visualisation solutions using modern BI tools and cloud technologies
• Managing data integration projects, working with internal teams, clients and technology partners to deliver successful outcomes
• Supporting innovation projects focused on automation, AI and the future of data-driven marketing

You:

• Have experience in a Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or similar technical role, ideally within media, marketing or digital environments
• Have strong SQL and Python skills, alongside experience working with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS or Azure
• Have experience integrating data from CRM, marketing and analytics platforms, including Salesforce and Google Marketing Platform tools
• Understand marketing performance metrics and how data can be used to improve business and campaign outcomes
• Are a proactive problem solver with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
