Data Science Lead - London - Hybrid

This team span Data Science and Engineering, and you'll be collaborating with internal stakeholders and other teams to drive innovation and build on their current platform.

The role:

Project Leadership - Manage data-driven projects from concept to deployment, ensuring the successful development, testing, and implementation of ML-powered optimization models.

Machine Learning & Performance Enhancement - Develop statistical models to improve decision-making and automation within the business. Drive innovation by building on existing AI-driven solutions.

Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with engineering, senior stakeholders, and operational teams to shape and refine technology for real-world applications.

Product Development & Integration - Enhance the existing data science infrastructure, ensuring that machine learning models integrate effectively and deliver measurable improvements.

You:

- Python proficiency - Strong experience with statistical modeling and ML development.

- Experience in productization - Must have taken ideas from concept to implementation in a real-world setting.
- Mathematical & statistical modeling expertise - Hands-on experience in a commercial or applied environment.
- Team leadership experience - Ability to guide, manage, and develop a data science team.
- Industry experience (preferred) - Background in data-driven decision-making, optimization, or automation within a commercial setting.
- Collaboration skills - Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
