Is a specialist e-commerce division of a global & award winning Network Agency group. Their offering spans multiple channels (including D2C, marketplace, and Social Commerce), diverse product offerings (from managed services to advisory and tech/tools), and encompass a global reach.

Hybrid working policy: Based in central London - 3 days per week in the office. 4 weeks per year work from anywhere / abroad.

The Job

This role revolves around overseeing Amazon Retail (Vendor and Seller Central) operations, with additional support provided across various other online marketplaces. As an Ecommerce Manager, you'll be tasked with the day-to-day management of our Amazon and Connected Commerce clientele. Collaborating closely with the Ecommerce Director, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting effective organic and content strategies aimed at driving growth and operational excellence for our clients. Drawing upon your expertise and that of your team, you'll devise solutions to address the daily challenges faced by clients' businesses. This includes mentoring and supervising junior team members, as well as coordinating cross-functional teams, including advertising, to implement cohesive strategies, plans, and achieve desired outcomes for clients.

  • Take charge of day-to-day client management, swiftly addressing issues as they arise and proactively devising strategies to preempt future challenges.
  • Lead weekly status calls, overseeing the status sheet to ensure timely follow-ups on actions and adherence to deadlines.
  • Supervise executives, prioritizing tasks, facilitating skill development through regular catchups, setting objectives, and ensuring their alignment with business goals.
  • Assist the Ecommerce Director in formulating comprehensive Ecommerce strategies, contributing to campaign planning, strategy development (including ad hoc briefs and annual planning), and content generation.
  • Gain insights into clients' business needs to propose innovative solutions aligning with their short and long-term objectives.
  • Contribute to client Road Maps by defining clear deliverables and collaborating with the Account Director to prioritize tasks based on client objectives and targets.
  • Continuously evaluate content and operations, suggesting enhancements to improve content quality and operational efficiency, aiming for top-notch digital shelf presence.
  • Handle reporting responsibilities, preparing Weekly/Monthly performance reports, extracting actionable insights, and coordinating the PCA process, including briefing teams and collating presentation materials.
  • Support the Account Director in gathering intelligence for pitch work related to new business opportunities.

You

  • Proficiency in managing Amazon retail operations (Vendor and Seller Central) is essential.
  • A solid understanding of Amazon Ads, D2C, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce is also highly valued.
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment where cross-functional collaboration and initiative are vital.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adeptness at multitasking.
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in people management, including setting objectives, conducting reviews, and holding one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles with a proven ability to cultivate relationships with external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel with robust analytical skills, capable of translating data insights into effective commercial strategies.
