Fixed Term Contract - Media Planning Account Director - Network Media Agency - Up to £65,000 pro rata - 3 Months
A leading network media agency based in Central London are looking for a cross channel Media Planning Account Director to join one of their key accounts for a 3 month FTC (a well known brand in the auto space). This is a pivotal hire for the business and you will get the opportunity to work on some huge projects that are taking shape over the next few months. This is a UK focused position and you will be taking a lead from a brand perspective, working closely with the Performance Planning Director already in place.
*** Fully remote workers cannot be considered for this. You will need to be able to get into the Central London office at least twice a week. There will also be regular travel to the client offices (UK based)
The Job
- Media Planning Account Director
- Overseeing brand element of the account, working alongside performance planning specialist
- Leading a team of 2 consisting of an Account Manager and an Account Exec
- Planning and project managing 2 huge client projects
- Lead budget conversations and explaining how media plans fit into this
- Collaborate with creative agency
- Lead client communication from a brand perspective - daily client calls, presentations, meetings etc.
You
- Established at director level (can't consider AM level ready for step up)
- Strong media planning background - both on and offline
- Good understanding of AV and how the channel fits into the wider media mix (ability to discuss this with client and manage push backs)
- Intricate understanding of the UK market
- Confident working autonomously and taking a lead with client contact
- Understanding of how large businesses operate and have experience working on fast paced high spend accounts
