We're partnering with a powerhouse independent media agency that's redefining what performance marketing can be. With a stellar client base in retail and eCommerce, they're looking for a Head of Performance & Effectiveness to shape the future of how performance campaigns are delivered, measured, and evolved.
This role is part strategic leadership, part innovation hub-and 100% focused on creating next-level results. You'll be working across top-tier brands, leading a brilliant team of specialists, and building out a performance-first, data-powered future.
🔍 The Role: What You'll Be Doing
🌟 Leading Performance Excellence
- Own the agency's performance output across search, social, and display, with a strong focus on eCommerce outcomes
- Mentor and empower biddable teams to run efficient, effective, and on-brand campaigns
- Support robust, realistic forecasting strategies and ensure alignment across teams
- Drive continuous innovation-setting the bar for how the agency approaches channel performance
📊 Data, Dashboards & Decision-Making
- In partnership with the agency's data leads, evolve the way client data is housed, analysed, and visualised
- Lead on building next-gen dashboards and reporting tools that are actionable and client-friendly
- Champion data consistency and rigour across all account teams-instilling a culture of performance accountability
📈 Attribution & Thought Leadership
- Lead the charge on developing and evangelising a proprietary attribution model
- Build case studies, lead storytelling and create sector-leading insights
- Be the voice of innovation and shape the agency's position in the market through thought leadership
🧠 Product-Led Innovation
- Identify and deliver new, scalable products-from AI solutions to web audit tools
- Turn agency services into packaged, sellable products that clients love
- Lead on transformative ideas-pushing for bold, smart change at every level
🤝 Partner & Process Excellence
- Collaborate with senior leaders to elevate planning frameworks and internal documentation
- Overhaul how campaigns and reporting workflows operate-delivering best-in-class process design
- Help onboard strategic partners and set the gold standard for collaboration
💡 About You
- Proven experience in a senior performance marketing or strategy role within an agency or high-growth brand
- Deep understanding of biddable media, eCommerce KPIs, and channel strategy
- Data-driven mindset, with a knack for turning insights into impact
- Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and presenting to clients/stakeholders
- A curious innovator-excited by emerging tech, AI, and building new products
