Head of/Senior Manager Programmatic Audio Operations- Audio Advertising Platform

The Company

My client is a leading digital media and advertising business operating one of the largest audio advertising platforms in the market.

Working with agencies, advertisers, DSPs and premium content partners, the business delivers large-scale programmatic advertising solutions across multiple markets. They are continuing to invest heavily in their programmatic capabilities and are looking for a senior leader to drive operational excellence, platform development and strategic growth across their audio offering.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, this role sits at the intersection of ad technology, product, operations and partner management.

You will take ownership of the operational delivery and future development of a large-scale programmatic advertising platform, ensuring it remains efficient, scalable and easy for buyers and partners to transact with.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and improving operational workflows across campaign setup, delivery and optimisation
  • Owning end-to-end platform operations, ensuring reliability, scalability and efficiency
  • Acting as the senior escalation point for technical and operational issues involving internal teams, DSPs and external partners
  • Defining and prioritising product and platform roadmap initiatives alongside technology and commercial stakeholders
  • Translating customer, partner and operational feedback into platform enhancements and new capabilities
  • Supporting the launch of new products, integrations and platform functionality
  • Managing relationships with DSPs and platform partners to drive adoption, innovation and operational excellence
  • Supporting onboarding, QA, troubleshooting and partner integrations
  • Overseeing reporting, reconciliation, spend tracking and operational governance
  • Working closely with commercial, technical, product and operational teams across multiple international markets

This is a highly visible role with significant ownership and influence over the future direction of a growing programmatic advertising platform.

You

  • Strong experience within programmatic advertising, ad tech or digital media
  • Deep understanding of DSPs, SSPs, RTB workflows and advertising technology infrastructure
  • Experience leading platform operations, product operations, operational strategy or ad operations functions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, commercial and operational teams
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercially minded with experience of reporting, reconciliation and operational governance
  • Experience within digital audio, streaming, media owner or advertising technology environments would be advantageous
