An exciting part-time, contract-to-hire opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager to join a fast-growing, global technology organisation based in New York City.

* Based in Midtown NYC (onsite, no remote)

The Job

As the Office Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the New York office, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while creating a welcoming, vibrant, and people-first workplace. This role blends operational excellence with employee experience, supporting local teams and collaboration with a wider North American and global workforce.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing daily office operations, vendor management, facilities coordination, and office supplies.
* Managing office food programmes, including weekly lunches, vendor coordination, and budget oversight.
* Championing employee experience by welcoming new hires and visitors and coordinating lunches, celebrations, and cultural events.
* Supporting meetings, client visits, off-sites, and team events, including logistics, A/V, catering, and setup.
* Acting as the front-of-house contact for guests, deliveries, mail, and general enquiries.
* Supporting hybrid meetings using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
* Partnering with People, Marketing, IT, and Facilities teams on onsite and offsite initiatives.
* Managing invoices, contracts, and office budgets with strong attention to detail.
* Driving continuous improvement across office processes and administrative workflows.

You

* 2-4 years' experience in office management, facilities, or administrative operations, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* Confident, approachable, and service-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
* Hands-on experience with vendor management, event coordination, and office budgeting.
* Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and project tools like Asana or Trello.
* Able to work onsite in Midtown NYC, 20 hours per week, with flexibility for events.
* Proactive, resourceful, and aligned with an entrepreneurial, people-first culture.
