Manager of Paid Media & Marketing Operations
Position type: Full Time / Manager

Business Focus Statement
This individual will serve as a hands-on expert in turning first-party data into actionable insights
to optimize and personalize digital marketing campaigns that drive better results and additional
revenue.
Operational Accountabilities
The Manager of Paid Media & Marketing Operations leads the development, execution, and
optimization of data-driven digital marketing campaigns. This includes strategic planning, budget
management, and performance analysis across channels like Programmatic (DV360), Paid
Social (Meta, LinkedIn), Search (Google Ads), and Marketing Automation Platforms
(HubSpot, Marketo, PostUp, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
The Manager of Paid Media & Marketing Operations leads a high-performing team of activation
specialists, both onshore and offshore, across Marketing Operations, Email Development,
Graphic Design, Paid Social/Programmatic Advertising, and Ad Operations. This role champions
a culture of continuous improvement, driving strategic vision and meticulous execution.
? You'll be responsible for the full talent lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to ongoing
development through performance reviews, feedback, and skill-building.
? You'll lead weekly team meetings to review campaign performance, optimize strategies,
and manage our activation production pipeline.
? A monthly focus on professional development ensures our team consistently enhances
client satisfaction and value.
? We're looking for someone who fosters a collaborative and positive team environment
and excels at cross-functional partnership with sales, product, implementation, and other
client-facing teams to ensure coordinated client success.
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
? Develop, execute, and manage high-performing paid media campaigns across
various platforms, ensuring alignment with client objectives and budget constraints.
? Leverage first-party data and customer segmentation from Marketing Automation
Platforms to create highly targeted and personalized audience strategies for paid media
campaigns.
? Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable recommendations for
optimization, including bid strategy, creative testing, and audience targeting.
? Partner with internal teams to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy that integrates
paid media with organic, CRM, and automation efforts.
Operational Excellence & Process Automation
? Automate and optimize client activation workflows, ensuring seamless processes,
accurate prioritization, and efficient resource allocation from request to post-campaign
analysis.
? Champion continuous process improvement, identifying bottlenecks and implementing
scalable solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and service scalability.
? Oversee and continuously improve the channel audit process, translating results into
actionable work plans and defining KPIs for activation performance.
? Ensure all campaign management documentation and standardized operating
procedures (SOPs) are current, comprehensive, and rigorously followed.
? Manage and improve ClickUp templates (Lists, Tasks, Checklists), ensuring team
training and diligent adherence.
? Define requirements for and manage the naming convention generator, collaborating
with the Platform team and enforcing consistent team use.
Optimization & Performance Management
? Responsible for supporting the swift and effective resolution of budget overspend or
program under-delivery make-goods.
? Ensure the delivery of final reports after campaign conclusion, including performance
metrics, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations.
Education
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
? Relevant certifications in digital marketing platforms (e.g., DV360, Google Ads, Meta
Blueprint), marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo), or analytics tools are a
strong plus.
Required Experience
? A minimum of 5-7 years of direct, hands-on experience in paid media management,
including expertise in programmatic advertising (DV360) and paid social (Meta,
LinkedIn).
? Proven experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
and a strong understanding of how to leverage first-party data for campaign
personalization.
? Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service.
? Proven experience coordinating work cross-functionally within an organization.
? Prior experience working with Customer Data Platforms is a strong plus.
? Media industry experience a plus.
