This is a standout opportunity for a senior paid social specialist who wants to work on a high profile client.
I am hiring a Paid Social Associate Director to take ownership of paid social strategy and activation for a complex, fast‑moving, household‑name brand. You'll work closely with senior performance leadership, shaping best‑in‑class social activity across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit and X, with budgets and visibility to match the responsibility.
This role blends strategic leadership, hands‑on excellence and team development - ideal for someone who wants to push performance thinking forward, not just keep campaigns ticking over.
The role
As Paid Social Associate Director, you'll be the senior specialist voice across paid social, guiding strategy, driving performance and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading paid social strategy across brand and performance objectives
- Owning audience strategy, platform selection, media approach and testing frameworks
- Partnering closely with creative teams to maximise format, messaging and asset performance
- Overseeing optimisation, testing and performance analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Managing budgets, forecasting and performance reporting with precision
- Supporting MMM, audit processes and wider performance integration
- Growing and mentoring a team of paid social specialists
You'll collaborate closely with creative, data, planning and wider media teams to ensure paid social is fully integrated into broader marketing activity.
What you'll bring
- Deep, hands‑on expertise across the paid social ecosystem
- Proven experience running both brand and performance‑led social campaigns at scale
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and presenting performance narratives
- Experience managing, coaching and developing junior team members
- Solid understanding of at least one other biddable channel
- Commercial mindset with experience spotting growth and revenue opportunities
- Curiosity around automation, AI and emerging platform opportunities
