Sphere have partnered exclusively with SMG who are one of the world's leading Retail Media businesses. As they scale rapidly in North America, they're looking for a Director of Agency Partnerships to be the first in the door and lead their agency relationships across the U.S.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of retail media-driving new investment, building strategic partnerships with top agencies, and playing a pivotal role in their North American growth story.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow relationships with North American media agencies
- Secure new investment from CPGs, tech, travel, entertainment, finance and beyond
- Negotiate and execute commercial deals and joint business plans
- Partner closely with retailers to build a market-leading retail media network
- Play a leadership role in go-to-market strategy, training, and PR within the agency ecosystem
What we're looking for
- Strong network across U.S. agencies and brands
- Proven track record of exceeding commercial targets in media/ad tech/retail media OR
- A strong agency background with commercial acumen, wanting to move into a career in Sales
- Deep knowledge of the agency landscape and commercial models
- Entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
- Experience building or scaling retail media networks (ideal, not essential)
