Senior Sales Executive - Automotive Vertical

Location: New York City or Los Angeles (5 days in office)

Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 base | Double OTE

About the Company

Our client is a global technology leader that has built a proprietary advertising platform leveraging unique first-party TV data at scale. Their platform enables brands to reach audiences across desktop, mobile, tablets, and Smart TVs.

As the CTV and Smart TV landscape continues to evolve at pace, our client is expanding their vertical sales capability and is now looking for a Senior Sales Executive to own and grow the Automotive sector across North America. This is a high-impact individual contributor role backed by a world-class ad operations team and a leadership team driving explosive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the Automotive vertical - developing senior relationships with auto brands, OEMs, dealership groups, and their agency partners
  • Serve as a trusted strategic consultant, helping Auto advertisers integrate Smart TV and CTV into their broader media mix
  • Build and execute a mid- and long-term territory plan to grow advertising revenue both on and off the Smart TV platform within the Auto sector
  • Act as the voice of the customer - feeding market intelligence, Auto industry trends, and competitive shifts back to product and leadership teams
  • Champion Smart TV advertising strategy internally, aligning cross-functional stakeholders around Automotive client needs
  • Develop deep expertise in the platform's TV data, measurement tools, and audience targeting capabilities to build compelling, tailored solutions for Auto advertisers
  • Stay ahead of CTV/OTT trends and the competitive landscape, with a particular focus on how Auto brands are activating data-driven media

What They're Looking For

Essential:

  • 5-8+ years of experience selling digital or TV advertising solutions, with a demonstrable focus on the Automotive vertical
  • An established network of contacts across Auto brands, OEMs, dealership groups, and/or Auto-focused agency teams
  • Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including CTV, OLV, cross-device targeting, and data activation
  • A proven hunter mentality - you open doors, build pipelines, and close complex deals
  • Experience working directly with both client and agency partners at a senior level
  • Proven track record of high-level negotiation, relationship building, and consistent revenue delivery
  • Comfortable presenting and pitching virtually and in person to C-suite and senior marketing stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience selling data-driven or complex multi-channel advertising deals
  • Familiarity with Smart TV or connected TV platforms and their role in the Auto media mix
  • Background working across both entrepreneurial and established corporate environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
