Senior Sales Executive - CPG & QSR Verticals

Location: New York City (5 days in office)

Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 base | Double OTE

About the Company

Our client is a global technology leader with a proprietary advertising platform built on unique first-party TV data at scale. Their platform connects brands with audiences across Smart TV, desktop, mobile, and tablets - underpinned by world-class data science and brand-safe cross-device inventory.

As CTV continues to reshape how CPG and QSR brands reach consumers, our client is investing in dedicated vertical sales expertise. They are now looking for a Senior Sales Executive to own and grow the CPG and QSR sectors across North America, based out of their New York office. This is a high-impact individual contributor role, supported by a best-in-class ad operations team and a leadership team driving significant growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the CPG and QSR verticals - building senior relationships with brand marketers, trade marketing teams, and their agency partners
  • Position the Smart TV and CTV platform as a must-have channel within CPG and QSR media strategies, working closely with brands and agencies to integrate it into their media mix
  • Develop and execute a mid- and long-term territory plan to scale advertising revenue within your verticals, both on and off the Smart TV platform
  • Act as the voice of the customer - feeding CPG and QSR market trends, competitive shifts, and advertiser needs back to product and leadership teams
  • Champion Smart TV advertising strategy internally, aligning cross-functional stakeholders around the requirements of your vertical clients
  • Build deep expertise in the platform's TV data, audience targeting, and measurement tools to craft compelling, tailored solutions for CPG and QSR advertisers
  • Stay ahead of CTV/OTT trends and monitor how CPG and QSR brands are evolving their approach to data-driven TV and cross-device advertising

What They're Looking For

Essential:

  • 5-8+ years of experience selling digital or TV advertising solutions, with meaningful exposure to CPG and/or QSR advertisers
  • An established network of contacts across CPG brands, QSR chains, and/or the agency teams that represent them
  • Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem including CTV, OLV, cross-device targeting, and audience data activation
  • A proven hunter - you build pipeline from scratch, navigate complex organisations, and close
  • Experience working directly with both brand clients and agency partners at a senior level
  • Proven track record of high-level negotiation, relationship building, and consistent revenue delivery
  • Comfortable presenting and pitching to senior marketing and media stakeholders both in person and virtually
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through

Desirable:

  • Experience selling data-driven or complex multi-channel advertising solutions
  • Familiarity with how CPG and QSR brands approach TV, CTV, and cross-device measurement
  • Background working across both entrepreneurial and established corporate environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
