Sales Director - Ad Tech / Mobile Advertising

💰 $150,000-$180,000 base + double OTE
A leading global mobile advertising technology platform is expanding its U.S. commercial team and looking for a driven Sales Director to own brand and agency partnerships across the Midwest.
You'll join an ambitious, high-performing team in a business backed by cutting-edge programmatic technology, powerful data capabilities, and a strong global reputation for innovation and growth.
The Role
As Sales Director, you'll be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with key brands, agencies, and trading partners, driving adoption of the platform's suite of mobile and programmatic advertising solutions.
You'll lead the full sales cycle-from prospecting and consultative selling through to negotiation and deal closure-while shaping the regional go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth across the Midwest region through strategic agency and brand partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across leading advertisers and holding companies.
- Sell mobile, programmatic, and data-led advertising solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Manage private marketplace (PMP) and data activation partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to deliver client success.
- Represent the company at industry events and in key market conversations.
What We're Looking For
- 12-15 years' experience in digital media or ad tech sales, with deep brand and agency relationships.
- At least 5 years in the programmatic advertising ecosystem (DSP, SSP, exchange, or similar).
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
- Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; able to identify new opportunities through insight.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative self-starter.
