Overview
We're looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead the strategy, research, and execution of user experience across web platforms and digital marketing journeys.
This role sits within a cross-functional marketing team and combines hands-on design with strategic input, allowing you to influence UX direction, drive complex initiatives, and champion best practices across a global digital environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring all digital experiences are intuitive, user-focused, and deliver measurable commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
UX Strategy & Leadership
- Lead UX thinking across websites and digital marketing journeys
- Define and shape user experience direction across platforms
- Drive best practice and consistency across digital touch points
Design & Delivery
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Translate concepts into engaging and effective user experiences
- ProduceUX documentation including:
- Information architecture
- User flows
- Navigation structures
- Interaction patterns
Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, development, and content teams to deliver cohesive solutions
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation
- Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Research & Insights
- Conduct and contribute to user research initiatives
- Use data and behavioural insights to inform design decisions
- Support usability testing and experimentation (A/B testing)
Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
- Continuously refine and enhance user journeys
- Ensure experiences are seamless, logical, and aligned to business goals
- Stay up to date with UX trends, tools, and accessibility standards
- Proactively bring new ideas and innovations to the team
Requirements
- Strong experience in UX design, ideally within complex or high-traffic digital environments
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience with UX research, interaction design, and conversion optimisation
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar
- Experience designing responsive websites and marketing funnels
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions
- Familiarity with analytics, SEO, and testing frameworks
Experience in financial services or regulated industries is advantageous but not essential.
