Senior Programmatic Trading Director - Programmatic Media - Up to £180K OTE
The Company
Our client is a global programmatic media company delivering performance and brand-led solutions for top-tier advertisers. With a strong international presence and deep trading expertise, they help agencies and brands achieve smarter, faster, and more scalable outcomes through advanced data, tech, and service. Their UK team is a market leader, and they are now hiring a senior figure to lead and shape the future of their trading function.
The Job
Lead and manage the UK programmatic trading division (25+ people) across multiple levels, channels, and client verticals
Set trading strategy and drive operational excellence, innovation, and delivery across all programmatic campaigns
Collaborate with commercial, product, client services, and operations teams to improve outcomes and performance
Own senior relationships with DSPs, data providers, and technology partners
Foster a high-performance culture and oversee hiring, development, and team growth
Represent the business in high-level client conversations, pitches, and industry forums
Act as a key member of the UK leadership team, driving forward business goals and trading excellence
You
7+ years of experience in programmatic trading, with significant team leadership exposure
Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem across display, video, CTV, and omnichannel media
Track record of scaling teams and driving revenue through trading innovation and operational rigour
Strong commercial mindset and ability to align trading strategy with wider business goals
Comfortable in senior stakeholder environments, with excellent communication and presentation skills
Strategic thinker, but also hands-on and adaptable when needed
