Social Creative - 6-Month FTC (January Start)

About the Role
We're looking for a versatile Social Creative to join a multidisciplinary team on a 6-month fixed-term contract starting in January. You'll work across a range of government-related projects, shaping culturally aware, strategically led content tailored for social platforms.
This is a hands-on role spanning ideation, design, copy, and content creation. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, strong judgement, accuracy, and discretion are essential.
What You'll Do
- Concept and develop social-first ideas for campaigns and content strands
- Design engaging static and animated assets optimised for social platforms
- Write clear, audience-appropriate social copy in English
- Produce and edit short-form social video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with project managers, strategists, and other creatives
- Stay up to date with platform best practices, trends, and emerging formats
- Manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment while maintaining high standards
- Ensure consistency and quality across all creative output
About You
- Strong portfolio showcasing social design, copywriting, and creative ideation
- Confident working end-to-end across concepts, copy, design, and video production
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; After Effects desirable)
- Experienced in creating platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more
- Experience working on sensitive or government-related communications is advantageous
- Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Based in London and comfortable with hybrid working
- Must already hold UK government security clearance and be able to provide proof
Contract Details
- 6-month fixed-term contract, starting January

- Salary: £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience
